Fifteen years ago, I began to study the Bible more intently than ever before in my life, and I continued to do so heavily for nearly ten years. During that time, I shared what I was learning at Messyanic.com.
Then, I slowed down considerably to redirect my attention, time & energy elsewhere, all the while applying what I had learned.
And then, 2020 happened.
Given all that was taking place since then and feeling like I had so much to say, I began to delve back into both studying the Bible and blogging about it.
However, I pretty much lost whatever audience I once had. And, I had fallen behind the times when it came to social media.
I struggled for a bit trying to figure out how to share what I was learning so that it would actually reach people, and I thought YouTube could be the channel to make that happen. But then circumstances changed in my life, and that option was no longer viable.
Thankfully, I found Substack. And I believe this venue is the best channel for me to move forward in.
Messyanic’s Findings is my take on what I’ve come to learn in the Bible, and I plan to publish it on a semi-monthly basis around the 1st & 15th of each month to be delivered via email to subscribers of it.
Each issue will likely include compilations of blog posts I have made in the past at my website but with a fresh perspective. And I welcome & encourage feedback.
My hope is that what I have to present will be encouraging and thought-provoking — and illuminating in some way.
If you have an interest in what the Bible says and are curious as to what I understand it to say — and why, then this would be a great place to find out.
[TEASER: I have a very different take than most who claim to know what the Bible says.]
